The Duluth Lakewalk has seen a major redo since 2018. In 2017-2018 the Lakewalk was damaged by high waves. Since then, the City of Duluth has done a great job redoing the lakefront which is part of the Canal Park area. It now consists of all new trail, and an entire natural rock wave break.
